Slinx: Baby Lamb, Mongolian Lamb, Goat Skin
Mention sheep and people think of New Zealand, and our clean green pastures have a few million of them. Baby Lamb Skin - sometimes called Shearling or Slink Skin is a by-product from this major industry and our Slinx Collection is aptly named to epitomise this natural resource that is from Downunder. New Zealand baby lamb are classified as "casualties of nature" meaning they do not survive birth or a few days after.
Mongolian lambskin is famous for its long curly tendrils. These hides are imported and made into fashion items by Wear New Zealand. Goat skin is also imported and again has long shaggy fibres - it's all about the texture from these fab resources.
