Kiwiana Pohutukawa & Moko Reversible Apron
These Kiwiana aprons are designed to be fully reversible! 100% Made in New Zealand. Isn't it annoying when you come across ostensibly "Kiwi" products but the country of origin is obscure? Chances are, they are made offshore which defeats the purpose of it all! But rest assured, we make everything here in our Auckland workroom!
Made from 100% cotton, this is an amazingly original two in one apron that can be worn either side that encapsulates a dual perspective of what New Zealand is all about. What a novel concept! This particular apron features a print of the New Zealand native tree the Pohutukawa on one side, and a Maori Moko pattern on the other.
What a delicious fusion of what is sure to bring a measure of sunshine and happiness into any kitchen with these slightly kitsch, slightly retro, slightly quirky combos.
With double thickness cotton and reverse piping on the top and hem of the main panel, these well constructed New Zealand aprons look great and will withstand a fair bit. So, you are in the middle of a dinner party and sploosh one side? Don't panic - switch to the reverse and get the best of both worlds. We think these aprons are the perfect memento for visitors returning home or a reminder of Downunder for the Kiwi doing their OE.
Measuring 72 cm length (28 ½") x 52cm width (20 ½"), with long cotton waist ties, these balanced dimensions fit most women.
Machine washable in cold water.
